HEALTH & SAFETY

AT THE YOUNG KINGS SPORTS ACADEMY

The safety of our players, parents, and staff is our number one priority. In response to the current pandemic we will be implementing some new housekeeping rules to ensure that our facility is a safe and healthy environment to play the game of basketball. We will be following the latest CDC guidelines and implementing some extra measures to keep our facility in accordance.

What to expect?

All parents and guardians MUST wear a mask upon entry of our facility. Our staff will be wearing masks as we assist the players on and off the court. This will help in keeping us all protected. If a player or parent needs a mask we will have some on site.

Our priorities are to provide reduced-risk while upholding player and staff safety by minimizing the number of people in the facility. Due to limited capacity and current safety precautions, effective Monday, December 7, 2020, parents and guest are no longer allowed to wait in the lobby after drop off with the acceptation of toddler class. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.

What to bring?

We encourage athletes to bring their own basketball and to write their name on their ball. This will help decrease the spread of germs through switching multiple basketballs throughout the workout. If you don't have your own ball, we will provide one.

Please bring your own water bottle. Players will not have access to our drinking fountains at this time. We will have waters and sports drinks on sale for purchase.

Will the schedule be the same?

We have made slight changes to our schedule, classes, summer camps, and training start times to allow the flow of traffic in our gym to be monitored in the safest manner. This will allow our staff a chance to clean the gym in between workouts. Please check our schedule or call us at 772-480-3990. We will require everyone to schedule an appointment/pre-register to participate in our sessions. We will not be accepting walk-ins at this time, so please be sure register online or call 772-480-3990 to schedule.

Check-in Policy

Upon entry we will do standard temperature checks for each player with a non contact thermometer scan.
